The craftsmen turned this beautiful, solid, 17-inch Black Walnut Bowl with Mineral Oil Finish at the Bowl Mill. Each bowl is unstained, but sealed with a food-safe mineral oil. These classic serving bowls make heirloom quality gifts for holidays, weddings, housewarmings and birthdays.

First Quality is a blemish-free wood bowl with no visible imperfections. Woodgrain will vary, and no two bowls are exactly the same. Hand wash only.

Second Quality is our “knot perfect” quality grade with small knots, small putty patch, or minor blemishes. Seconds are fully functional, food-safe, structurally sound, and perfectly imperfect. Oftentimes, we can’t remember what made them miss the grade, and what is one person’s flaw is another person’s feature.
