Pear and Pomegranate Salad

Combine lettuce, sliced pear, and pomegranate in a bowl. Then Combine vegetable oil,

pomegranate juice, lemon juice, mustard, honey, and pepper in a saucepan. Bring to

a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the dressing thickens slightly

for about 2 minutes. Pour the warm dressing over the salad and serve in your Vermont

Cranberry Spinach Salad

In a medium bowl, whisk together sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, onion, paprika,

white wine vinegar, cider vinegar, and vegetable oil. Toss with spinach just before

serving.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook and stir almonds in

the butter until lightly toasted. Remove from heat, and let cool. Combine all of the

ingredients in a large wooden salad bowl and serve.
